SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to the community.
SASSA is going to be rendering providers including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency stated it is actually alarmed about the significant quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some significant quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The company point developed for intervention activities a significant inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more assets to permit the servicing of all consumers and enhance entry to Social Assistance status sassa companies,” the agency said.
